ANDRENE BONNER is a New York based author, educator, playwright, in-demand speaker, workshop facilitator, and curriculum designer for K -12 through undergraduate learning. She is the author of a literacy fiction series, four non-fiction books about student resilience, full-length cultural dramas on African- American and Caribbean history and a book of poetry. She has also written Ruby, a full-length musical that teaches high school students the history and culture of the Harlem Renaissance and Room 180: the forgotten students of outerbrook high that addresses the crisis in urban communities.
She develops curricula, wellness tools, offers Professional Development in Social Emotional Learning, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, training on the parent-teacher partnership, and teaches parents to become co-teachers.
